Ask your audience before you launch
Focus Groups test your ideas, messaging, concepts and campaigns with Synthetic Audience Segments built from your profiles and current market data. Answers come back in hours, each with its reasoning and sources.

Your question, or a template
What can we test?
Headlines, messages, concepts, features, positioning and your response to a shift in sentiment. Use a template, begin with any report in Metisyne, or ask your own question.

Who answers
Who is actually answering?
Synthetic Audience Segments. Each one starts as one of your Ideal Customer Profiles or Personas, takes on the Focus Group's context and is enriched with new data for it. They're built from real data, but they aren't real people, and we never present them that way.
A synthetic customer made in a chat window is a confident guess. Each segment here is built from real data about your customer, answers with its reasoning and sources, and says when it doesn't know.

The answer first
What do we get back?
A report that leads with the answer to your outcome and an executive summary, followed by every answer from every segment, the themes across them and the sources behind them.

Trust
How do we know we can stand behind it?
Every answer shows its reasoning and its sources, with a confidence label. Where the data was thin, the report says so, and you can add a source or run a follow up.

Before you launch
What should we change before it goes out?
The report ends with what the answers say to change before launch, and you can send the winning message straight to a Plan.

Which headline would you click first?
Mid market B2B SaaS
Chose B. The board is who the whole team answers to.
"Leadership wants one line they can repeat in the next meeting."
Director of SEO
Chose B. The board asks this every quarter.
"Every quarter someone asks if we show up in ChatGPT. I want to walk in with the number."
Content Marketing Lead
Chose A. It says what they would actually see.
"Tell me exactly what I'd get, a list of where we're mentioned, and I can turn that into briefs this week."
Product Marketer
Chose B. It speaks to leadership in their own words.
"I'd click A myself, but B is the one I'd forward."
Synthetic Audience Segments are built from real data. They are not real people.

Common questions about Focus Groups
Straight answers about how segments are built, where the data comes from and how far to trust the results.
Are Synthetic Audience Segments real people?
No. Each one begins as an Ideal Customer Profile or Persona you chose, takes on the Focus Group's context and is enriched with new data. Metisyne's engine and AI gather the data, and real data with deterministic models generates the segments that answer. They are built from real data, but they are not real people, and every report says so.
How long does a Focus Group take?
Hours, not weeks. There's no panel to recruit. Metisyne shows the time left while it runs and emails you when the report is ready.
What kinds of tests are there?
Message tests, concept tests, topic priority, search journey checks, community voice tests, answer tests, competitive positioning tests, AI answer tests, review response tests and more. You can also build your own.
How sure is an answer?
Each answer shows how many segments agreed, its reason, how sure Metisyne is and the sources behind it. Where data was thin, the report says so instead of rounding it up into a claim.
Can we reuse a segment?
Yes. Save any Synthetic Audience Segment from a report and add it to a later Focus Group. Saving it never changes the profile it came from.
